code 16

Default code 16

today i was driving to school and my car shut off at about 30 mph it gave me code 16 and am wondering if it is either the ecu or injectors my car is a crx dx i started right up after i cleared the code and drove fine it has had code 16 but it wont let it start sometimes any info will help

if im not mistaken code 16 is the intjector code but you can also get a code 16 if your Main Relay goes bad because since the relay controls alot of stuff. thaTS happened to me before and i took the main relay out and re solderd all the solder marks on the relay and it worked fine ever since but there still is a posabilitly that your injector or injectors are bad but try the main relay first because its easier to do the main relay is under the dash on the driver side like above the coin holder

thanks bro i been looking for relays at the junkyard but they are all taken i guess ima re-solder it my car shut off again and this time it was code 15 time for a new igniter

ps does anyone know what the black cable with a white stripe under the dash conected to the ignition cylinder is

this solved my problem too.. i changed injectors and that wasnt the problem.. i was thinking that the fuel pump was crapping out because the pump wouldnt prime but one day i unplugged and plugged the main relay and the car started up perfectly fine..so i pinpointed my problems to be the main relay...
