Default 5spd tranny swap. 92 civic dx

I have a cable tranny from a 89 civic dx hatchback. I know i need new axles and pedles from a older cable car to do the swap. but my question is why is the D16 and D15 clutchs diffrent? Because i have a Stage 2 Act Clutch i paid 450 for a long time ago and is still new. it was in a D16A1 dual cam motor in my Crx. but when i go to bolt the presure plate to the flywheel the bolts are diffrent pattern. the clutch is way to big. could i just get a D16 flywheel and bolt it to my D15B7 motor and run the act on my d15b2 cable tranny?

Its not worth putting a cable tranny in a hydro car, especially a D-series tranny, you also need custom mounts if you weren't already aware of that

They aren't. I don't know what clutch you have, but a D16A1/DOHC ZC uses the same flywheel bolt pattern as every other D-series.
