Does it track fine? Any wheel vibrations? Excessive tire noise, scrub marks on your tires?

If not then just unbolt your steering wheel and center it. It's possible the previous owner had a sports wheel or something on there, and swapped the stock one back on when they went to sell it, and just didn't align the steering wheel correctly.

NO!! It is true that the steering wheel could be offset by installing the steering wheel in the incorrect location. However, you should test it to check before you just offset the steering wheel to fix alignment issues.

Turn the steering wheel lock to lock and count the no. of times it is rotated devide that no. in half and move the steering wheel to its center position. If your steering wheel is not straight then remove it and install it straight. It is still a good idea to get an alignment afterwards as the guy at an alignment shop can measure where your absolute center is, basically by performing the same procedure just using lasers and a computer. then he will adjust your toe accordingly.

heres the update i got it align at the shop.i just took it in..did'nt have time to check it myself to busy..the problem was that they had to replace one side of the tie rod plus aligned.it turn out better than before.later on i recheck everything.i see that both front tires were really in bad shape and couple of the stock steeli had dings on them, one of the cv boots were kinda toasted.those would probably be the main priority that i got to take care of on the list.thanks for the heads up.
