Default headers wont fit! help

I just changed the head gasket on my hatch and now while trying to reassemble it I can not get the header back on. Anyone ever have this problem? I tried having someone lay under the car and push it up towards me but I can not get it on. help!

Just quickly disconnect the downpipe and quit fighting it.

looks like your doing it the hard way. either disconnect the downpipe from the upper exhaust manifold. or let them be, remove your rad, "T" bar support.

Try taking off the lower crossmember and you should be able to get the header on, then reinstall the crossmember.
