hey everyone,

i looked and didnt see anything similar to my question.

i just got the manifold half of a 4-2-1 DC header. my question is, will this manifold bolt up to the bottom half of my stock LS header? i know the LS header is a small diameter compared to the DC header, but i just wanna know if it'll bolt up.

 

Highly doubt it will work. The stock header and the DC header most likely do NOT have the middle flange in exactly the same spot, or have the primary tubes in the same spot/configuration, or have the exact same bolt pattern, etc. etc.

 

i'm going to look things over tomorrow, if it cant be done, anyone know where i can find a second half of a DC header? ha

 

No, it won't work. The flanges are in different spots. Why didn't you get the whole header?

 

he paid half j/k run to the yard and find an old 4-2-1 header layin around and buy half i see them around our junkyards often

 

i only bought the header because some on another forum was selling it for 20 bucks, it looks brand new so i bought it.

 

Why did he only sell you half? And even if it would bolt up you would have one hell of a time getting the bolts out of the stock header.
