Tune up for 2001 Accord V6 Coupe.
Hey guys/gals,
I'm helping a friend doing a tune up to his V6 in preparation for winter. My question is, what is all needed to be done? I know the car is a direct ignition and don't need plug wires, but spark plugs is needed. Here is the rundown of my list:
-Seafoam and then oil change
-Spark plugs
-Tranny flush
-Top off all fluids
-Check brakes and rotors for wear
-Check fuses and replace if necessary
-Check belts and replace if necessary
-Check all light bulbs and replace if necessary
-Check tires tread
That's all I can think of, what else do you guys suggests?? Any help or input is greatly appreciated.
This would be my first time working on the car, so any tips would help too.
Thanks again.

Of course oil filter with oil change, Seafoam before spark plug change too, AIR FILTER, FUEL FILTER, PCV with GROMMET and HOSE if this engine has one, tire pressure, clean battery terminals, clean throttle body and ports in there with carb cleaner with engine running at medium RPM (before plug change also), how many miles on the clock. Do not top off brake fluid if you are not going to be the one to do a brake inspection next time, low brake fluid means low pads. Inspect rubber hoses for the cooling system and test coolant if you can. If you have a voltmeter then test the output of the alternator at the battery with engine running and all lights on, AC on high fan speed, rear defroster on. Inspect for oil and transmission leaks.
