Default problem shifting into gear

i have a d15b jdm vtec i just swapped in my car, and im using my old si tranny that worked fine. well i swapped it in and when my car is off it feels really hard to put it into gear compared to normal, and when the car is running i cant even put it into gear when im pushing the clutch all the way down, ive adjusted my clutch cable as far as it can almost go, its really tight.

im confused? any help would help alot, thank you

I am having similar issues, when the car is off it will change gears but when its on it was very hard to get into first gear for example. I messed with my clutch cable a bit the other day and my clutch pedal ended up breaking so hopefully when I replace it, the cable, and put a new clutch kit in the car it will be good to go...

I have dealt with similiar issues. All ended up being a partial broken cable inside. Replace the cable and it should fix it. Cheap and easy. 90-93 DA cables give alittle more adjustment room

you already tried what? adjusting it?

I think alscrx is trying to tell you that it may be too stretched to adjust.

what on the shifter is giving you trouble?

did you put your clutch/pressure plate on right when doing the swap? Your pressure plate could be fubar...
