They will physically mix. What is your intent with this concoction?

well my motors comp is 12:1 and the Highest fuel in my area is 91 so what I wanted to do was mix 91 and 110 at a 5:1 ratio averaging it out to about 94 so the question was is it okay to mix unleaded pump fuel and 110 vp leaded?

12:1 really isn't that high to necessitate using higher than 91 octane.

If it detonates on 91 octane, you either need to get it tuned, or get it tuned better.

i know it can be tuned on 91 but that will require to retard the timing so only so much, so im trying to go a little higher to reduce the retarding of the timing..

Too bad you are in CA. E85 would be a perfect remedy of this issue.

Not with time. A single tank of leaded will kill the cat, which will trigger a CEL on an OBD2 car since the 2nd O2 will read rich (it will know you killed the cat). Your valves will love you though...

What he meant is that you are not tuned well if it detonates on 91. 12:1 compression is not high enough to cause detonation with 91. To give you an example my dirt bike has 13.5:1 compression and does not detonate running 91 octane.
