Icon2 E-brake light on my display cluster stays on when really cold outside

So this is going to be my first winter with my Lude and I come to find out that my e-brake light in my display cluster stays on and I cant figure out why. It only comes on after it reaches a certain temperature. Would anyone know whats going on and how to fix it???

yout e-brake cables might need some adjusting...they might be a little loose; OR you might want to check you brake fluid level

Yeah, you're brake fluid level is a little low. When it's really cold the fluid contracts, dropping the overall volume and causing the warning light to come on. Just top it off and you should be good to go

Mine does the exact same thing, only during really cold weather. My fluid is full, so I think we need some adjusting

I had this problem before, I just took off the brake fluid cap, cleaned it, and the light was gone. The floater is probably your problem if you have the correct amount of fluid.

There is a TSB from Honda on this and it affects Accord, Civic's and CR-V's as well.

Here is the info for ya.

Service Bulletin 03-078

Affects
96-00 Civic
97-01 CRV
97-01 Prelude
98-02 Accord

Parts need to fix the problem.

Filter part #46666-S04-J02
Float part #46662-S84-999

Its should be under $10.00 for the 2 parts from the dealer.

Hope that helps ya all out.
