Default b18a1 swap for del sol

ok im planning to do a frankenstien for the b18a1 then drop it into my sol so here is a couple questions i gotta figure out.

1. would the frankenstien pass smog in CA to start with if not then wats the point of even doing the frankenstien.
2. would i need new radiator for the b18a1 in stock and if i can do a frank that too.
3. besides the obvious things i need to do the swap like mounts tranny yada yada what else would i need for this swap.

im runnin a 94 del sol s rite now

A B18A1 block in a '94 del Sol absolutely will not pass California emissions.

Have fun with that, because it's illegal in California to install an engine that is older than the vehicle. All B18A1s are date-stamped from 1989 to 1993; no 1994 B18A1s exist. The smog refs will know.

When i bought my 92 hatch it had ab18a1 with GSR tranny... ive got a b20b now with the same tranny... Depending on if you boost or go NA is what you should base your tranny options on..
