sub keeps going out
Ive got a 12" Kove sub in my trunk with 360 RF watts pushing it. Sometimes the sub just goes out - is it too hot? I know the sub is handling it well. I think it might be too hot in the trunk. Is there any way that I can cool it down? Thanks
assuming all your wiring is ok, and that your equipment is well matched... try turning the gains down, where is the amp mounted? maybe its not getting enough ventilation...
yeah, im pretty sure the wiring is okay because the sub only goes out in the early afternoon when the temperature is at its peak. its mounted right in front of the sub box and bolted into the cardboard spare tire cover. would it be a bad idea to get some kind of fan?
