Default Sub under Integra seat

Has anyone ever installed a small, powered subwoofer underneath the seat of an Integra? Is there enough room to try?

I'm thinking about buying a powered subwoofer and figured I'd put it there to save space in the trunk.

i dont think there is enough room, and if you did find something to fit, i dont think it would sound worth a ****. If you want something small that doesnt take up a whole lot of space and its easy to take it in an out, I would put a bazooka 8 or 10 (depending on what kind of music you listen to the most) with a built in amp and call it a day. Bazooka's work really well in small spaces and since you have a integra it will sound awesome.

^^^^ X2. I once traded a nice 12" sub for a 8" sub with truck cab box because I wanted back some trunk space. The decrease in bass was not worth it. I could hardly hear it and it cost me a few hundred.

Default Sub under Integra seat

Not nearly enough room, plus as mentioned, it wouldnt perform as well as a enclosure in the trunk (or floorboard). Sounds like stepping up to a fiberglass box is what you should consider.

Well, as far as the sub is concerned, I've resigned to mounting it on the rear seatback. I don't want a large box cluttering up my trunk, and I only listen to rock music, so the bass coming from a small powered woofer will be just fine for me.

I've heard good things about the Kenwood one, so I figured I get one of them. IIRC, it's 150W and dual 5x7 cones. The plan is to get that and put a nice set (ie, MBQuart discus or Alpine-S) of components in the front doors and call it a day. I probably won't fuss with the rear speakers.

Anyone remember "Bass Shakers"? They used to be installed under seats... they would "vibrate" to the bass.

Garbage lol.

no there will be no sub that would fit and sound good under the seats. kenwood sucks in my opinion. these take little space. might be a bit more but is better. they are very short compared to other subs.
