Icon2 2000 Si drivetrain swap.

I've got an 00 Si and I was just pondering today at work how awesome it would be to do a drivetrain swap with like an S2000 or something similar. That way it will be RWD. The Civic has a 103.2" wheelbase and the S2000 has a 94.5" I was just wondering what you guys thought about this.

Yeah, pretty much what I was saying is just putting my 2000 Si body on an S2000. That way it will be RWD. Keeping the S2K motor tranny and all the goods. Just with the Si body on top.

well there is no just swapping the body to the other car, its not like a truck. it is possible but you are going to have to have a custom driveshaft made

Its just something that I thought of while I was at work earlier today. I also thought of putting it on a Audi frame and makeing it AWD, or a Subaru frame.

if u want AWD, then find a junk crv and swap the parts, but there is no lifting the body off of said frame( there is no frame) and swapping it to the other. there are people out there that have swapped crv drivetrain into civics before to make them AWD
