hey guys i just brough a 99 civic dx and i think the intake box is kinda useless.... so i was wondering if i keep the tube and tape up the 2 holes on it, would it be safe to take out the HUGE box sit under the tub? i just want the engine bay look little cleaner and more room to clean bay

 

Yes, it will be fine to take it off. I don't even have the two holes plugged up.

 

ok i just want to make sure, because i can tilt the big hole side up a little avoid rain or sand, and plug up those little holes so it dont suck in any dust and crap, try to keep my engine healthy, since ill be running highways alot, i would buy a intake but its really useless for my daily drive. and it wont add **** anyway
