Default Need Help Choosing the right Resonaitor...

Set up: JDM ITR 97 spec all motor, Tri Y Headers.

Hi guys, I need a little help finding a resonator that will best fit my setup. Here's the deal... my exhaust is piped out 2.5" all the way to the existing resonator and sounds great with the OEM manifold but now that I’ve just installed the new header, my whip sounds like a ricer when I start pushing the motor. I'm assuming that the header relieved some of the back pressure and is the cause of the sputtering sound at higher rpm's. I like to get it back to the nice deep sound that it had with out all the sputtering if it's possible. Do you guys have any suggestions? Thanx!!!

Yeah, I heard that a longer one might fix it, which one did you use?

I'm looking an apexi or somthing, I just don't know which will fix the problem. I was looking at the APEX'i PS REVO Exhaust, has anyone used it before.

18" resonator might help...BUT I would go with a 20-22". Also it would depend on what style muffler you are using.
