Yes.

The entire front end is different (assuming you are thinking about front end conversions).

The more noticeable differences are: The 99-00 Headlights don't have a reflector strip on the bottom of the headlights, the bottom of the bumpers are different (front and back), front bumper contain fog lights holes, etc...

The fenders, hood, head lights and bumper are different from the 96-98 to the 99-00. The head light have sharper angles on the 99-00, which make the fenders, hood, and bumper different that the 96-98. The bumper is what really makes the years stand out in my book. The 99-00 has places you can cut out for the fogs on the outer edges of the bumper and the 96-98 has them inside the part below the Honda emblem on the far sides. Look for that and you will be able to tell if its a 96-98 or 99-00. There are more differences like the rear lights and bumpers and the climate control cluster but you only want to know about the front so ther you go. Hope this helps for whatever you wanted to know.

There's a thread about this. It would be linked in the FAQ, had the FAQ not been hacked to bits.

Here is the link though.

Oh good, that thread got cut in half too.

Here's where you can actually see the whole post I made.

You can always do a front end conversion.

I did one a few years back and it was pretty simple.

I always thought it was funny to prefer one over the other... because of how they look stock. Most of us don't keep them stock looking and it changes a lot. Too many '99-'00s look the same to me.
