How Do I install a Killswitch?
Hello, I am new to the Honda technnology database, and i just bought a Honda and or Acura which i cannot specify. I was wanting to look for some DIY on how i could possibly install my own killswitch at home from the convenience of my own backyard/garage and or shop. but therefore since there is no already-exisiting permanent or temporary thread on how install one with the right materials and procedures, maybe someone from this or any other honda group could post a DIY with pictures on how to install a killswitch.
Pretty simple, find the PGM-FI Main Relay in your Honda/Acura, locate black wire to PGM-FI Main Relay, [ground for injector relays coil] cut black ground lead and install a 1A SPST, [on/off] switch.
It is a low current ground so only a small, easily hidden, 1 amp switch is needed, it will "kill" the fuel pump, fuel injectors, one of the powers to the ECU/ECM and power to a few engine sensors. 94
