Default Suspension parts safe to Powdercoat?

Is it OK to powder coat suspension parts like LCA's, UCA's, and steering knuckles? I'm just worried of the temp (375?) they bring the parts up to, possibly weakening them?

provided you took out the bushings and balljoints, yes, make sure to mask off the mounting surfaces

I powder coat those parts all the time, no customer ever came back with a broken part!

Heating metal and cooling it down actually makes it stronger. Its called heat treating it. Just have to remove anything non metal before baking

Cool, off to powder coating they go! Yea I'll be sure to remove the balljoints and boots before

I'll update with pics after they're done, it'll be a while tho. Saving up for a wilwood big brake kit

Yes annealing of metal is used to relieve internal stresses and improve strength properties of metal...but powder coat curing at 400 degrees F is hardly hot enough for any benefits and the heating/cooling process isn't performed for the purpose of annealing.

I'm also having a spare VC sent in for powder coating. VC's don't pose much of a safety threat.

Sounds sick, got pics?
