I'm seeing a lot of older posts saying the fitment is not good with the Autometer Dual guage pod bezel around the cluster...but nothing recent. Has anyone purchased one recently, and if so, how is the fitment? I know the eBay ones fit better, but the Autometer ones show the Temp/ Fuel gauges much better! Also if anyone has an experience with the OBX ones, I'd love to hear it!
Any pictures of fitment problems would be appreciated also!
Thanks!

Thanks for the response!
Is yours the one that has the covers about half of the temp/ fuel gauges( Ebay usually), or are they almost completely visible (Autometer)?

Well, got it today...looks pretty decent, but I probably won't have a chance to fit it until next week. I'm amazed though at the fact that for $75 this thing seems very poorly made. The surface isn't perfectly smooth, the edges are very rough, and it just doesn't feel all that sturdy. Guess we'll see...I hope it was worth the extra to be able to see the majority of the gauges!
Thanks for the posts man, I appreciate the comments!

Man, theres a dude on here who makes his own custom pods. I cant think of his name. I made a thread about putting gauges where the cruise/dimmer switch was and he posted in that thread.. unfortunately, it's gone now because of the database problems.. but it was like $150.00 for a super sexy, perfect fitting gauge pod holder.
Which, BTW, I did put gauges in the above mentioned places LAST NIGHT and.... it looks gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo oooood!

Well I installed it last week and really have no complaints. It definitely isn't OEM, but once it's in, it's not something that anyone would ever notice. I'm just picky, so I see the rough edges, but I am very happy with it overall. And I like being able to see my Fuel/Temp gauges, hah.
Yeah, I saw that thread about the gauges in the dimmer/cruise holes. Looked pretty clean, but I think I'm all set with only 2 for now!

That looks great. How much does the DC dualie go for?
>>This whole project sparked when I purchased a bezel off ebay that looked cheap and was warped which fit horribly so I decided to make my own out of an OEM bezel so I knew without a doubt that fitment would be excellent. These take some time to make but im happy with the results. -And your guys comments are encouraging so thanks!

luv2boost: those bezels look fantastic. I was going to settle for an autometer dual bezel as well but I just hated the fact that they covered the gas and temp gauges. How much for the DC dual bezel? please let me know, thanks.
Thanks man! And me 2. I hated the limited view of the gas/temp OEM gauges with the Autometer bezel- The pods on these bezels round off at the ends which make for much better OEM gauge view ability on bezels with outer pods.

From your quad pod picture, I can see more of my gauges then you can in yours. The OBX one blocks half of each gauge, the Autometer one stops right to the left of the C mark on the temp, and right to the right of the F mark on the Gas. If it's still warming up, you can't see the temp needle till it goes to the C mark, but it's still more then the custom one.
Not trying to knock you work, because it looks REALLY quality...just trying to be accurate here : P.
Edit: I'm pretty sure this guy has the autometer:
