Default Honda Civic 03 four door rear speaker installation

hey i'm tryin to save some cash and install my KFC-X172 speakers in the back of my civic..how do i do this?

The 2 ddor hatch has 6x9s, the 4 door has 6.5s, both models require removal of the rear deck lid (not fun). If you have the 2 dr with 6x9s, you can break off the 4 white plasic mounting tabs under each speaker, the oval speaker can be manipulated out of the hole from under the rear deck which makes the install WAY easier for the novice.

"not fun" is right. I did my '02 Civic coupe without the help of a DIY to guide me.
My rear speakers were bolted in, though. I had to remove the rear side panels, C pillar panels, fold the rear seats down and remove the rear lid... just to be able to remove my 6x9's. By far the most PITA rear speaker install I've ever done.
