Default obd0 to obd2 distributor SOHC VTEC

ok i have a 90 civic ef with a obd0 wiring harness and a 97 d16y8 vtec head, how can i wire in my distributor i need to cut the connector off the obdo harness and wire in the connector for the obd2 but i dont know what color goes to what wire??? any help would be appreciated

i see... well good luck man... and just an idea, i think rywire sells distributor jumpers for obd0-obd2

why did you wire your vtec to kick on with your high beams? y dont you just get an aftermarket tach with a shift light and set your vtec to kick on at a secified number.

just remember that you will be running lean while in vtec if you dont have some sort of fuel management.

And I would highly recommend going obd1 for reasons stated earlier but at the very least get some sort of vtec controller or rpm switch, There easy to hook up and better then your high beams. Heres a link that shows how to hook up a rpm switch, it's not the best thing but still better then you high beams:

yeah you'll gain zero power with VTEC if the ECU doesn't know to supply the extra fuel.
Also I'm pretty sure you need an OBD0 distributor for your OBD0 electronics. I know my car wouldn't run with an OBD1 distributor on OBD0 electronics.

Hooking it up to your brights is ridiculous, don't even bother putting that head on if that's how you're going to use it
