in those options boxes there is constant power, switched power, illumination just depends on how you want to run it off. I do suggest you install a fuse though

 

if you truly want to wire up your fog lights the right way those spots are not the correct spot. in your steering column behind the headlight switch there is a plug and you connect it on this spot here.....


i opted to connect my harness to this power slot so if i forget to turn off my lights, when i remove the key from the ignition they will automatically shut off. connect here to do this....

 

hey thanx man....so the slot that u put in red is like switched power right!....can u also tell me which slot is CONSTANT POWER cause i wanna install my alarm soon...get to me asap!...

 

if i remember correctly i believe the two top option slots are constant power.

 

yes the red square is given power when you start your car. if you decide to put the power wire in the headlight switch then your fog lights will be given power only when you turn on your headlights only.
