radiator hose problem

Default radiator hose problem

I am getting ready to put everything back into my car from my motor swap. Well I have ran across alittle problem.

I dont know where these go to? I have looked and looked. Searched...read my haynes manual, and still nothing. Help me HT!

yea cause i'm pretty sure those are transmission cooler lines. i'm assuming you swapped in a manual trans and those lines now have nowhere to go. which if thats the case, just leave em alone they won't hurt anything being disconnected.

No. See thats what I have heard is that the bottom one is if your automatic. But I didnt know if both were or not?

So I guess basically if your running a manual tranny then all u use is the bottom and top rad hoses?

is that other hose going to the bottom of the radiator a little bit off the picture to the left? if so then yeah they are just ATF cooler lines...

Hm kinda...its coming from the like under the fan...acouple inches from the other end of the radiator.
Well thanks for the help, I kinda figured they were but I thought there was only supposed to be 1. Guess I will find out when I hook everythign back up.
Do you think I need to plug these or will they not leak?

yeah there should be 2... a feed and a return line. and there is no need to plug em up... whithout an A/T there is nothing in there to leak out

Ok gotcha, didnt know if it was opened up to the inside of the radiator. THanks for the help. Sorry for being a idiot in this field.
