NSF's update for the non-believers.
A good buddy of mine was banned from this site, for good reason, but he insisted I post this chart from one of his projects (as was requested from a site Op, he didn't say who).
Anyway, even though he's a dick sometimes, he still builds a good motor.

I'm not sure why they ran STD, it could be a little off. I've seen similar results from this car before though, I have no doubt it's accurate.
When he first started I funded some of his prototypes and gave him a hand on the initial build (when the beer was free).
Anyway, it is an atmospheric P72 GSR.

Ha
he says...
"Yeah, the whole scene's after me lucky charms. I don't rap off numbers, it's just a good application of basic physics -
velocity, thermodynamics, and money."
Good times.

When I was around for the first build the compression was 12:1 on a special stroke, Gude made the most recent cams so I'm not sure of the lift. He keeps quite a bit of the custom stuff a secret, but I'll get some details if I can.
A big part of it is the intake system though. Everything revolves around optimum velocities with carefully designed parts, and the intake temp is freezing so there's a lot more leverage on tuning without risking detonation.
Long story short, a little imagination and friends with money goes a long way.
