95 integra LS fuel pump not turning on, main relay clicks on, cel light does't off.
this one has me stumped. its got a brand new distibutor and a brand new relay. i can losen the bolt on the fuel rail and get gas to come out when hook the pump straight to power. but nothing when its all hooked up as stock. i turn the key and the dash lights light up. the main relay clicks. but the fuel pump never comes on and the check engine light never turns off. any suggestions?
Unhinge your back seat and check the plug on the actual fuel pump for power and then the other wire for a good chasis ground. i am sure you are missing one or the other. then go to the master relay remove and using a helms check for power on the pin that provides it on the plug and check the other that provides ground for good chasis ground if you want to be lazy just connect these two pins together is see if fuel comes out. If you have power at the relay and none at thepump then you have a wire that is open (cut) between the relay and pump plug if you don't have power at the relay then go the other way using the helms.
