Default Weird Suspension Noise..... Help!!

I've got an 03 RSX-S w/ k24 bottom end. I'm hearing a loud ping/jolt normally when i turn right @ lower speeds. Like turning right at a stop sign. It really sounds like the spring. I really don't know for sure what it could be though.

I don't think it's my CV axles, because it's not a constant clicking. Just one jolt.

Any ideas/thoughts are much appreciated...

I know that kind of noise comes out of the front suspension bushings on the si's, maybe yours is similar. do you know if it's side specific?

Yea, i think it is. I couldn't tell you for sure, but the sound is so consistant it's hard to believe it could be making that exact noise on both sides

You tell us that you have a K24 bottom end (which helps us none), but you don't include anything about your suspension setup.

No way to answer your question with such poor detail.

I mentioned k24 bottom end because it is somewhat taller than the k20. I wouldn't know if axle position would cause it. Just puttin out there.

And it's stock shock absorbers, skunk2 springs, 18" wheels (i know, i know....)

Skunk2 you say? lol. Do a search in this forum for Skunk2 suspension components.

My guess is that whoever put the springs/struts back on on didn't do so correctly. That or it's the beauty of Skunk2 engineering...

I'd buy some new springs/shocks and do it correctly. Until then, you're going to have a suspension that's inferior to a OEM stock setup.

I guess your idea is viable..... but you really mentioned nothing specific. What about the springs are inferior? And how would that produce the symptoms i mentioned.
