94 civic coupe ex Gap between headlight and corners
after searching this site and multiple honda sites I was unsuccesful finding my answer. I recently picked up a used 94 civic ex coupe. I bought it from an older man, 1 owner, unmolested, all original. I car faxed it and it came up clean. He stated he had a minor fender bender on the pass fender and had to replace it, but other than that no other accidents. I removed the fender to look for body damage and it all looked unharmed. I noticed that side has slightly more headlight/corner light gap than the driver side. I then checked for core support damage and could not find any. I noticed that the hood had a slight over bite also because the hood doesnt latch easily. For my question: I noticed that some 92-95 civics have these gaps and others dont. Is this normal and are members just modding something to make it so there is less gap and more flush? THe pic is big so you can see the gaps better.

There are channels on the side of the headlight that the corners slide in to that keeps them aligned right next to the headlight. It looks like maybe your corners aren't in the channel. It's kind of hard to explain, but just take out the one screw that holds them in and slide them out. When you re-install them you should be able to figure out what I mean.
