Default DIY: interchangeable door panels inserts for eg/ ej1/2

so basically i get bored with my door panel inserts.. ive already done them in crossword puzzle pattern and then moved onto the "happy monster" pattern... and since it was such a pain in the *** i figured it'd be cool to be able to have many inserts and change them as i please but as we all know honda made this impossible due to their melted plastic rivets that we have to drill out... so i dont know if anybody has already had this idea (probably) or if anybody else made a thread about this (probably) so i just decided to make one...

SUPPLIES I USED:

all-thread cut into short pieces
washeres
nuts
8115 bonding adhesive
and well, the door panel insert and the pattern

steps...
first drill out your instert

do whatever patter you please on your insert i did "happy monsters"

get your pieces of all-thread, nuts, and washers

use your bonding adhesive

and glue your all-thread to the back side of your door panel... (i used the spot where the plastic rivets are to reuse the holes on the inserts) and tape down the all-thread so they stay striaght and let it dry for 24 hours minimum

after that, place your insert through the all-thread and tighten them down with the nuts and washers...

and enjoy your interchangeable insterts...

ps... make sure the all-thread is short enough so that it fits inside the door when you stick it on... you may have to cut them more after they are already glued down although i would not recommend waiting that long as you might break the glue...

i hope this was helpful and not a repost...
