good or no good?
i have a b18a non v tec im just trying to build a decent head so far i have skunk 2 stage 2cam shafts, skunk 2 dual valve spring, retainers,aem tru time cam gears,and its ported and polished.
is this good so far?

yup thats good, get it tuned with a raised revlimit. 500-1000rpm above stock is the max I would recommend intill you started doing bottom end work aswell.

then you should be able to safely rev even more but by then youll need a hotter cam which will start to kill off low end power and idle.

Your on the right track. Its pretty inexpensive to beef up the bottom end. You can get some oe pistons with a larger dome cc. pct's or p30's. Use the stock rods, and just get some arp rod bolts. Then get some management so you can get it all tuned and ready to roll. Its not always necessary to get vtec head. LS setups are perfect if your pockets are shallow.
