b16 intake choice
soon im selling my hatch and buyin an em1, for now im going to retain the b16, and im stuck between 2 intakes....arc or password jdm cf, im not looking for huge power gains just a nice dd and maybe a weekend track car, no cams or nething in that matter. so im looking for something that not only looks good but works well to. thanks yall
yea see thats the thing.....i like both cuz they both look good, if this helps ima have a typeR valve cover, curbing strut bar, and hytech header, and wire tuck, and a radiator, so i deffinately want it to look nice, see i do rev pretty high on the road too so yall can understand this will be a fun dd......another quick?? how is the em1? pos and negs also i was hoping to get a removable steering wheel and i noticed a couple pics some have them on their dd's how are you getting the sticker with those ??

EM1s are AWESOME for hard parking. I have one as my DD. You sound like you want to park F'ing HARD!
Lucky for you, it also doubles as a good DD. So you can have a car that allows you to park only as hard as people park in their dreams (F#$KING HARD AS F#$K, B#$CH!!!!!), AND have a good DD.
It's a good DD because it has rear fry holders. That's bad ***. It also has a nice looking interior, good gas mileage, etc. It also...will...allow you to uhh..."rev high on the street". Infact, the torque curve sucks so much that you'll be shifting at 12k just to keep up with traffic. It's fantastic.
You can hard park it because it's relatively heavy and f'ing SLOW...but it looks nice. There's no shortage of useless trinkets available for the car. From $600 headlights that look good or tow hooks that allow you to look hard....but you'll honestly never use. That's hard parking at it's finest if you ask me. There have been more hard parkers born on EM1s than any other car.
The ARC or PW JDM intake will probably make similar HP gains. Pick the one that will allow you to park harder (ARC).
You'll never make it to that track you were talking about...so just pick the least functional part that costs the most and looks the best.
I'll admit that the ARC intake is sexy. I would buy it if I wanted to hard park or not. It probably won't make the most power out of the 100 billion intake choices for the EM1, but it does look nice. I like **** that looks nice.
Park hard. Get an alarm because there's going to be theives that ...ironically....will want the EM1's functional parts that you never really appreciated or used anyway (except for the B16 that you will undoubtedly "rev high on the street"). However, they won't just take the functional parts because that takes time. They'll strip the whole thing.
You can probably save your spot now on the list of "my EM1 was stolen after I hard parked it and showed everyone my $1500 intake that made 2hp...I guess they figured I had other nice **** too...I should have parked a little softer."
