Default B16 NOOB

ok where do i start. i been working on my project for like 5 months now. i bought an EM1 shell. (previously stripped) anyways long story short, i put in a b16a2 engine in it. i have never done this. i did it all by myself just learning all alone lol. my problem started a couple weeks ago. i had to gut my cat out cause it was clogged. so now im running my engine with no 02 sensors (the 1 after the header and the cat one) they are fried. the cluster i had installed had the check engine light bulb taken out. i think im running rich. im getting like 24 mpg. the engine has around 100k. i know my way around an enigine but im not a pro. i really need some good advice and i know H-T has some good advice. THANKS IN ADVANCE.
am i causing harm to my engine ruuning with no 02 sensors?
what could have caused my cat to go bad?

no, if your O2 sensor is out, it can ruin your cat cause it makes you run rich, but yours is ruined anyway, so it doesnt matter. You need to get your O2 sensors working if you want it to run right

All you need is the primary (that's the one that goes before the cat) O2 sensor, this is the only one the computer uses for fuel trims. Then get a jumper harness and OBDI P30 ECU or an O2 simulator to take care of the secondary O2 (OBDI computer will not look for the Secondary O2).

I think that the obd2 to obd1 harness is just plugging it in pretty much.. I know that the obd0 to obd1 has to be wired in and everything.

Yup, just plug-n-play. Just give Rywire a call they will have what you need.
