motor revs like the peddle is floored as soon as i start it up..........any suggestions pleez

 

Vacuum lines disconnected?
TPS and MAP sensors not accidentially switched?
Throttle body stuck wide open?
No CELs?

 

like said above me... its gona be a vacuum issue...

your intake manifold and throttle body are the gateway for air to enter the engine... any holes or bad gaskets will cause the engine to rev up.. but if its reving up that badly then theres a lot of air getting into the engine

 

I had a kid show up asking me the same question about a week ago. Turned out the kid he bought it from had taken the butterfly set screw out and put it back in from the top. Could be your issue, but more likely vacuum.

 

Yeah, you have a gnarly vacuum leak. Forget the IM gasket, perhaps?

 

i'd say vacuum leak my type r did the same thing when 1 of the holes on the intake manifold was plugged
