accord is '95 LX auto B2 4 cyl. my check engine light is throwing a code.

more than a couple hours of web searches to locate the box. not where haynes says it is in pass. kickpanel.

is it immediately behind glove box? i see a hand size plastic box but it has no 2 pin connector- i see 3 wires. looks to be a bi#ch to pull off clips.

or is it under foot pad for front passenger, that is under the carpet, under the 10x 18 inch metal plate? there are 2 big metal boxes with large multiwire connectors, no 2 pin connector there.

help is appreciated.

 

Behind the glovebox, towards the passengerside kick panel, there is a holder that has the BLUE 2 pin connector.
Sometimes lazy people don't put it back in the holder, but that is the original location for your year Accord.

 

bingo, i casually had looked at that blue connecter and mistakenly had thought it to be a single 5 pin, but there was a 2 pin next to a 3 pin.

my code was a 17 for the vss. indeed, this car speedo stopped a few days ago.
i beleive i have located the vss from numerous searches.
