Default Trunk lid rust

Hey everyone. i own a 07 taffeta white FG2..So my question would be has anyone had a sign of rust or stress crack on you trunk? myne is rusting (not bad) but its an 07 shouldnt be.but its the back bolt in the middle of the spoiler the bolt closest to ur third brake light. I took it to honda and they are repainting it And they are finally replacing 3rd gear while it in,window tint and the scraping noise honda said its the tint and basicly told me to get f8cked

I have not experienced that, however, the paint is very weak.

Not a speck here, but living in California (at least where I am), there is no snow and hense no road salt.

In addition, I always wash my car with Salt-Away to ensure no salt remains.

The guys that installed your spoiler at the dealer ship didnt use the proper "paint" or sealer when they drilled the holes for the SI spoiler. They left the spurs wide open and never covered them up. IMHO it's the fault of the dealer who installed the spoiler originally.

I dont know who did the install but the dealershiped fixed it once and even if my rust warrenty run out it would go on their shop warrenty. I hope i just get a new deck lid tho.
