Im not 100% certain with the auto, but i do know for sure that a 91 si manual cluster swaps into a 91 manual dx with no wiring what so ever..

you need to run a wire from the solid blue wire out of the dizzy to the back of the cluster ...the conector behind the tach .....pin 12 .

In any stock civic 90 or 91 the cluster plugs right in without any modifications. I put an Si cluster into my 91 standard hatch. It worked perfect.

But U say that you did an LS swap so who knows. If you used the original wiring it should work.

Plugs right in no modifications necessary. You will have an extra plug for the auto display left hanging. I swapped my car from auto and am using an Si cluster and everything works perfect.

It's just plug and play. 88-89 & 90-91. I have a manual SI cluster in my LS swapped 90dx that used to be auto. As mentioned you are left with one plug (in my case green for the auto display) that is left hanging.
