Faded Lug Nuts? Can I paint them?????????????????????????????
sup guys, I bought some lug nuts off ebay a while ago, they were originally an anodized red lug nut, but now after a while, they have faded really badly to a pinkish / copper color.
my question is, can you paint aluminum lug nuts with your regular spray paint?
Have any of you guys encountered the same situation and dealt with it in a similar way?
any input is much appreciated. im not really diggin my faded lugs and want to do something about it soon. thanks.

?? Why wouldn't you be able to? What a stupid question! Obviously dont paint where the threads are, and make sure you clear coat them or they will fade again really soon.
my question is if spray paint will stick to the anodized aluminum material. i dont know if it will stick or just run. if you say I am stupid about it, then why the hell not, im going to go out and spray them with paint or **** or whatever else liquids known to man right now, this very second!!! at midnight!!!

LOL!
i think the only way to do it.. is to professionally re-anodize it or maybe powdercoat?
paint might work too but you'll have to use those custom sockets with the rubber inserts to lossen/tighten your lugs so it wont strip the paint..

both my rays are faded..so i went creative with it!

Had this problem on my rays, repainted them with anodized blue paint, hand tightened them, then wraped them with a paper towel and used a wrench, didnt get chipped or scratched too badly...
