in case im repeating a thread...i just wanted to know if anyone has gone with the venom intake manifold or the skunk2 on a jdm h22a and what to expect with either...only bolt ons on mine are catback apexi and aem intake ...nothing special but i was thinking of getting either manifold but wanted to see what other opinions are....i want to go NA but probably going to get boost sooner or later..cam shafts are going to be ordered sometime and i want my whole valve train to be skunk2..... i figured they would hold up to what ever i put to the test

I have the venom.. Its designed for FI. I would think twice about running it NA. It would be a huge power drop IM sure.

The VENOM, STR, and Golden Eagle are meant for serious Forced Induction.....

Theres alot of other things to do before you should even consider a different IM.

ok and is it worth it to get a 70mm throttle body on a skunk2 im ...and is it possible to bore the im to the 70mm because i think it comes 66 and what might be the side affects with doing the im that big? what will happen if the tb is 70 and im 66 will there be a problem with that?/?

I would consider what exactly you want to do to the car first NA or boost.....with either you should really tune the car with a new IM/TB combo

Hmm, about everything, it flows well enough stock for alot more than most people do. When you go higher compression and hot cams and such, then you may want to increase the im and tb flow rating. GregH, a member on here, is running 640 WHP with the Venom Im and a 65 MM Tb on his car, just for reference.
