inner tie rod boot

What tools and what is the level of difficulty replacing and inner tie rod boot that is torn ?

Count the threads on the tie rod, take loose the outer ball joint, unscrew the outer tie rod. The bands on the boot can sometimes be hard to get off, because the retaining part of the band will ALWAYS be in the wrong place.
But you should find it fairly easy to do on your 79 Accord

ooh i'll guess its a honda accord, between the years 1990-2002!!!

but basically, similar R&R procedure... some installation instructions are free on autozone.com repair manual section or even on this website somewheres...
