Default H22A4 into a 93 prelude?

so heres my story. i traded my 95 ej coupe a couple of days ago for a 93 prelude with a H22A4 motor. little did i know about the problem with the H22A4 SH motor not bolting on correctly to the driveshaft, the lude broke down on me on the way back home. so after angry words and voicemails, im stuck with this 93 prelude with a H22A4 that doesn't bolt up to the driveshaft.

my question is...i see that there is an adapter plate made for the sh block and works with 5th gen preludes who want to remove the ATTS and i was wondering would this work for my case? if so, is there anyone, or company, that sell this plate? i found the .dwg to have one created myself by a machining chop, but given the fact i've never seen one in person and can't actually be one to say "that's not what it's supposed to look like", i figured i shouldn't take that risk and just buy one that has been made and used by people. is this plate the only thing i need?

thanks in advance!

So you've got an H22a4 with ATTS in your Civic? I didn't think that'd even fit. Piratemcfred sells the adapter plates for $75. You need to use a non-SH/ATTS transmission though with the intermediate shaft.

If the SH-H22a4 is in the 93 Prelude without ATTS, how's the intermediate shaft attached to the block?

the shaft wont attach to the block, thats my problem. and thats why the car broke down in the first place, it was attached by a single bolt that fell loose on the way home.

thats why im asking on how to attach the shaft to the block.

i found the .dwg here on po.com

http://www.marcuccimotorsports...e.dwg

here's the original thread:
http://www.preludeonline.com/f...47883/

also...does anyone have piratemcfred's email? i need to get in contact with him asap. this downtime with the prelude is killing me.

EDIT: or better yet, does anyone have an extra adapter plate they would sell me? i seriously need this.

i have some similar experience with the sh prelude block. your going to have to make a brkt plate the lines up with the holes on the block that the ATTS use to bolt to. then make holes in that plate for the intermediate shaft or weld it on.
Also you can go to http://www.preludeonline.com and search H22a4 swap, something should come up on the first page if no the second. I hope this helps, i suck at writing long subjects.

I applaud the efforts of all who are trying to help. The mods really cleaned this site up. If you cant go any other route and need an atts unit, let me know, I got one cheap as a last ditch effort.
