Low idle on 94 Accord
Had my rear motor mount on my 1994 VTEC Automatic TRanny, Accord Wagon changed a few weeks ago,and ever since then,my idle has been too low, causing the motor to vibrate the whole car. Ive swapped out the throttle body, and the iacv on the back of the intake, but neither fixed my problem. The car idles around 400-500,when it should be I think around 800 or so. I also noticed going downhill and letting the car decellerate on its own,it seems weird. Took it to two Honda Dealers here in Indianapolis,IN,and they both blame the front mount,as the place they would start. (The actual mount bracket that bolts to the front of the engine) It has both top bolts broken, but doesnt move either way, left or right. And the larger bottom bolt holds the mount just fine. It was idling just fine with that broken bolts on the front mount, till I had the rear mount changed to fix the vibration when you shift into reverse, and now that is fixed and gone. But the low idle problem remains. I dont hear any vacuum leaks anywhere. And there is no check engine light on. Is there a bleed screw for the coolant,on the 94 vtec motor? I am at my wits end here. Any help is appreciatted. Thanks.
