I have tsudo, not raspy, but not quiet as stock. If all of your interior is in tact, like sound iinsulation. you'll be Okay, otherwise, nothing cheap is gonna get you any farther. Quiet, and power gains; Tanabe
The mishimoto, I'll take 200.00.
But your all the way in florida, and you need the ee8 or ef8 radiator support for it to clear. Or you have to mod yours

X2 for the tsudo. I used one on my accord a couple years back and it was a decent catback for the $, nothing baller status but it wasnt raspy at all. also check out Yonaka Motorsports they are pretty good too without a huge price tag

any muffler shop should be able to weld you a fully custom bent exhaust from the cat back.

a local shop did my crx a year or so ago for $220. it was 2 1/4" all the way back.

I hated the size of it when I got it. now, it's grown on me. Everyone runs the same size, it looks bad and annoying.

Plus, for the price, you can buy it just for the piping. muffler shops charge crazy now, and it won't even be mendrel bent

not a bad idea. you have any sound clips of how yours sounds? i'd be interested in that. there is a local sunoco with a garage and they did my brothers dodge truck, true duals in front of the rear wheels, 150 for piping, 2.5". i wouldn't think my ef would be much more. sorry to thread jack.

I like this one, but I'd change the tip to a smaller one and I'd add a resonator to keep it quiet.

i paid 200 for a custom madrel bent 2.25 inch exhaust running through a magnaflow muffler at a local muffler shop. That was without a resonator though and it got kinda loud with a very small amount of rasp at high rpm's. I ended up going back and spending another 150 to replace my cat and get a resonator put in. It sounds deep with no rasp now

A resonator is going to be the best part for your car to have it sound good and not like a can full of bees gargling marbles, no matter what muffler you get. Plus a catalyst, I run a magnaflow high flow cat and skunk2 megapower exhaust now and I LOVE it, but before that, I had a shop just do 2-1/4 pipe with stock cat and stock resonator and magnaflow straight through muffler with a nice tip in the stock location and it was quiet with a nice deep tone to it untill you stomped on the loud pedal.

That is what I would recomend if you are on a budget and are not looking for track car performance.

I really liked my magnaflow setup w the custom tip, it fit very well. (for sale now)

I now run the S2 and have no need for the magnaflow setup

I have Pacesetter monza exhaust off ebay. It was like 200 bucks shipped maybe a little over. I got it because the previous owner had this massive 3" that was falling apart and loud as hell sounded like a diesel truck. So I got it until I could get a better system. But now I'm not even going to change it. it's quiet almost stock quite up until 3200 rpm so for normal driving it's great no hassle from cops. go past 3200 and the exhaust gets throaty not raspy or tin can at all.

SiRed91, you run an additional resonator or anything with your skunk 2? I love the looks of it, but heard for highway driving it is a bitch with an Si tranny? I know you're rockin a B16 (I think) but how different do you think it would be on a stock motor? I am looking to change my current setup to a nicer one, I have something mostly like your old one, just without the tip and a Thrush 27" glasspack as a res.

thanks man,

also running custom 2.5" to magnaflow muffler. quiet unless you push it, then it's loud as hell. no cat and no resonator... i'd recommend those if you want to keep the quiet factor.

my current setup is okay for the money, i have a flange welded onto 2 inch pipe about 2 ft long, flowing through a thrush glasspack, then another 18 inches of pipe, and a 45 bend angled slightly down. fits nicely, but is real loud. not raspy at all, and its not obnoxious unless your putting a hole in the floorboard with your foot. and all for about 50 bucks
