Have clips and nipple that are unplugged, where do they go?
Ok so I have a 92 prelude with a jdm f22b motor swapped in. I am trying to figure a few problems out (idle and temp related) and have a few clips/nipples that don't have matching ends.
Can someone tell me where they go/what they do and if they are used on a f22b, as they could be old sensors from the old engine, and are not needed anymore...
First one is off the valve cover, I'm guessing its the PCV valve, but it does not stay attached anymore. What/how do I replace it?
Second is a uncapped nipple located near the battery. What is that vac for and should I connect it to something or cap it?
Third is located front of intake manifold, and judging from a vac diagram I was looking at for a h23a, it looks like it should tap into the intake before the TB. I have a cold air intake (unsure of brand) and the piping does not have any small nipples. There is a vac line running from the piping to the pass side rear of the valve cover, just infront of the EGR valve.
The fourth is a clip hanging out by the drivers side of the valve cover.

Thanks for the quick reply.
Do I need to take the valve cover off to replace the pcv or does it just pop out? If it just pops out, how do I pop it?
Leave the tranny vent like that? Don't cap it/connect it to anything?

No, if it is fine like that, I will leave it for now.
I did a bit of searching and it looks like the valve just pops out. Do these cars have a lower hose, and if so should I replace that as well?

Your PCV valve is broken and part of it has stayed in the valve cover. The piece in the valve cover should be easy to remove. There should have been a metal slug inside (thats why they rattle when you shake em)
The hose to the PCV valve gets vacuum from the intake manifold, since you have a broken valve therefore you have a vacuum leak.
The nipple on the transmission should have a U shaped hose on it to keep crap out of the trans.

As far as that last plug goes, I've got the same one dangling around my engine bay unconnected. Is that EGV or something like that, or a fast idle / IACV or something... I'm guessing EGV but you should look up the connector to see if it matches.
The broken off PCV will cause a horrible idle problem. It will alternate between revving and cutting off, and generally sound like ***.
A super-short-term solution would be to put a cap on the IM where the hose goes, until you can replace the PCV. If you take the PCV (both pieces) to Autozone you can get a cheap one that matches, but IMO the Honda ones are better and let less air through.
