need new catalytic converter & test pipe...questions
i have a hole in my exhaust on the "test pipe" (i think thats what its called)..possible "top pipe"......everything was previously welded when i bought the car so im gunna need a new cat too......just wanted some recommendations for a new ones... for stock parts - i can get the pipe and cat for around $366 which was kinda steep...
i can get a magnaflow cat for the 92 prelude s (2.2L) for around $50....and i cant find any test pipes on ebay specifically for a 92 prelude s 2.2L (they all vary)....anyone know where else i can find one or anyone selling one?

A test pipe is something that takes the of the cat if you eliminate it. Cheap cats tend to not last long, SMSP and Hytech cats are reasonably priced while being good quality.

Magnaflow/Carsound highflow cats are ~$50. And if you have a real cat, you don't need a test pipe. It's one or the other.
