Yes qualifying will be on Saturday, and one more qualifying shot on Sunday, and then go into eliminations.
I will not be bringing back motorcycles next year at this event either.
We should get even more racers next year with a two-day event, which would mean more runs for all racers.

Jason, will you be accepting applications?
I am so glad that it's going to a two day race. For the racers that is the best thing you could have done. Are you concerned about the spectator count going down as a result, thats what a friend of mine is forecasting. I think the Sunday spectator count will be about the same but Saturday will not be as good.
What I know for sure is I am not going to change anything on the car for two months before the race, so I don't screw my self out of racing like I did this year.
to MIR and Jason for keeping the local street car racing scene thriving

Saturday will be more of a racer and die hard fan day. Sunday will still be the car show, Elims, bikini contest, the main event, etc..
Not trying to bring all of the crowds in both days. Sunday will still be promoted as the MAIN EVENT, with the other attractions.
I know alot of you may not like the burnout contest but the fans love it, and it only takes 15 minutes. Making it a 2-day event should free that up some, plus we will have it on standby in the event of an oil down or 1st round pairings, when we are down anyways paring ladders.
