true!

you can even bolt a cable tranyn to a newer B motor.
so you can get a 2001 GSR motor easily into a crx if you use a crx issue B16 cable tranny.

Any B series tranny will bolt up to a B series motor.

thats untrue , we tried to bolt a certain b18 trans to a b18 and the perssure plate was diiferent or soemthing .
but we improvised and have the b18a block with b16 a trans .
yes that will work .

Why do you like the LS tranny better?

Why do you like the LS tranny better?
probably becuase of the longer gears. with a b16a tranny swapped with a b18c will give you better acceleration but you wont go as fast in each gear also at cruising speed, say 80 mph for example, you'll be at higher rpms, like 4400 or even 4500 depending on tires, rims and things like that. that also means worse gas mileage. i had a b16a tranny so this is from experience.

although an ls tranny would be perfect for turbo
