Re: b16 hydro tranny in b18b EG (chusai)
yes it will!
BUT, personally I think the B16A tranny's gears are too short for the b18b power band, I'd recomend the B18C1 (gs-r) tranny. Any 94+ B18C1 hydro tranny will fit.
Actually *ANY* b-series *hydro* tranny will work on ANY b-series motor (inluding your b18b) in your EG.

Re: b16 hydro tranny in b18b EG (Solid Alibye)
I would also recommend the GSR tranny on a stock redline LS motor.. as u will not be able to downshift into 4th gear @90mph from 5th gear because basically it will peg the redline almost instantly.I have a 95b18b w/gsr tranny.. and I have to tell u it made a world of difference switching from a LS tranny..now if the LS head is built and revlimter is higher and u have high compression pistons blah blah blah.. yeah a b16 tranny will be better but for a basically stock LS I wouldn't get anything else but a gsr tranny.. and u will get sick of the 4krpm @ 80mph 5th gear =P I miss the 3500 cruise .. or even the 3krpm cruise with my old dx motor and tranny =P

Re: b16 hydro tranny in b18b EG (IM ALL BOB)
I see.. I am planning for Lsvtec in the future... I figure the closer the gear the better.. so most pple use GSR tranny for ls vtec and b20vtec?

actually a b16 would be best for a LS/vtec setup or crvtec setup.. but I'm just saying if your not going to see the anything but the stock LS for more than a year I say go GSR .. then when u go ls/vtec or crvtec then swap to a b16 or ITR tranny
