Yes, the ports are equal length and have a less bias air flow design. However, the ports are smaller too, not that it matters since your booosted.
Just one more thing. Those manifolds use a 3 wire iacv. The only other civic engine I know of that uses the same sensor is the automatic ex. It will be a problem unlesss your's is auto.

He's saying the IACVs are the different part, and are probably not interchangeable. There's two styles of IACV, rotary and... solenoid? Blehh, I forget. Anyway, I believe the rotary solenoid is the 3-wire one and the other type is a 2-wire. The connectors are a different shape and won't interchange.

can you expand on that... ? So if I have a y7 and I add a y8 head w/ MT will I need a different manifold? can I keep the y7 manifold?
