Default D15B8 block with a D15b7 Head in an 91 Civic Si PLEASE HELP

bet you've never heard of this before. so i'm swapping my engine out cuz the motor was blown and what i have to work with is a d15b8 bottom block out of a 92-95 cx hatch and a d15b7 head out of 92-95 dx hatch. Here's the big question, would i be able to put the d15b8/b7 into an EF Si and keep it OBD0 without any problems?? Or would i have to switch to OBD1 even if its non vtec.

k cool. cuz i thought it would be a problem since both bottom block and head would be OBD1.

Although not directly related to your question, I'd like to point out something about the B8 since you're using it.

I tried a mini-me on my B8 and found that the water pipe on the back has one less outlet. The reason why is that the CX doesn't have the Fast Idle Valve on the throttle body. This is something you may have to address if you plan on using the B7 throttle body.

should be okay without the FIT valve...

you might have a slightly higher idle till the engine warms up that should be all tho.
