Default b18a1 swap in 94 civic dx

i am gonna swap a b18a1 motor into my 94 dx and i need help to as what to get and suggestions....

i know i need a wiring harness, what exact harness do i need?

i still need a tranny for it as well

but i guess my main concern is the whole wiring harness part and what not

any help guys?

your stock harness will work just fine....

What year is the engine? '90 - '91 B18A1s are OBD0. '92 - '93 B18A1s are OBD1. You want the latter unless you feel like cutting and splicing connectors or replacing the distributor, alternator and injectors.

its a 92 integra b18a1 and my car is a 94 civic dx with 1.5.....so will my stock harness work or not?

It'll work, you may have to lengthen wires to reach certain sensors. (IAT for example) other than that its plug and play.

sweet...i was gonna go out and buy another harness but now that i know my stock one will work thats awesome..thanks for the help..

just out of curiosity...a couple kids and my teacher in my class want to how my stock wiring harness will work with a 1.8 cause my car came with a 1.5? thanks

Most of the components and sensors are in nearly identical positions on the block. Also most the sensors themselves are interchangeable.

Default hows the swap goin?

hey im did a similar swap..i put a b18a1 block with a b16 vtec head into a 93 vx, but im having trouble startin it up
