Effects from defective IAT
My CEL reads 10 which is the Intake Air Temp sensor. (light on for 1 sec then blink) What effects will I have from a defective IAT? Driving feels normal...

if the IAT reads incorrectly high or low it will advance/retard your timing. Could cause detonation problems if its hot and your IAT is reading super cold I guess. Just replace the sensor / check the wiring when you can.
